Genpact has received the ISO 14001-2004 and OHSAS 18001-2007 certifications from the British Standard Institute (BSI), a globally renowned independent certifying authority for its operation centers in India (Gurgaon, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Jaipur).
 
The ISO 14001 is a certification of an environmental management system, which will help Genpact minimize any adverse affect of its operations on the environment, and help the company abide by the applicable environmental laws. The certification specifies requirements for establishing an environmental policy, determining environmental aspects and impacts of activities and services, planning environmental objectives and measurable targets, and management reviews.
 
The OSHAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment) certification will help Genpact identify hazards in its operations and minimize health and safety risks for its employees, consultants and contractors.
