MONROVIA, Calif.--Parasoft Corporation, leading provider of automated solutions and infrastructure services that improve software quality and the development process, today announced the opening of a subsidiary in China. The new office in Shanghai will provide the local sales, training, and services necessary to support the growing Chinese market demand for improved software reliability, security and performance. "China is currently the fastest growing economy in the world and we have seen that rapid growth transcend into its IT sector. In addition to outsourcing projects, there has been an increased demand to address the needs of China’s IT services within the domestic market," stated Jeff Chen, who has been appointed Managing Director of Parasoft China. "By providing direct support to Parasoft's customers in China, we can ensure the successful implementation of our solutions and provide services to help enterprises achieve increased productivity and significantly fewer software defects." Jeff Chen joined Parasoft Asia in March 2003 as General Manager. In the last four years, Jeff has devoted himself to building a solid foundation for Parasoft Asia, contributing to the rapid and continuous expansion of its subsidiaries. Prior to joining Parasoft, Jeff was a supervisor at Ecom Universal, a Taiwanese military system integrator. Under Jeff's leadership, his team focused on information security implementation for the defense industry on a national and global level.
