According to the info revealed by Arnd Wiegmann from Reuters, Google wants to quietly return China after half year of selling MOTOROLA to Lenovo. The reason is “There is no doubt that China has a huge market”.

In order to interest China’s government and Chinese customers who have strong patriotism, Google chooses to cooperate with Huawei, not with MOTOROLA belonged to itself or with LG & HTC those providers in the past. This is a good beginning, but it is still difficult to determine succeed. The reasons why Google lost in China are not in some aspects of technology, capital and talent, but in market pattern of “Except technology and capital, anything is a piece of cake”. If don’t comply with local regulations, not provide more right of speech for local leadership and not flexibly change Google’s based on Chinese customers, it is also probable for Google to lose again in China. CEO of Google must do the first thing is to do research in China market, just like Cook who took over Apple from Steve Jobs and never visited China formally. It is more important to visit than to sign contracts.

Only in short time of three years, China constructed by Cook has become the second biggest market of Apple, and also become the most important source of increasing profit. It actually provides a short-term successful case for China’s strategy decision makers of American science & technology enterprises. Devott after analyzing the re-succeed reasons of Apple in China believes that Cook is not better than Google in some aspects of technology, capital and talent training. The real succeed reason is the sincere respect from Apple’s leaderships lead by Cook for China’s market, Chinese customers and Chinese partners. Who said that Apple is difficult to shake the dominant orientation is only from its design? Please Google consider it!
