China Service Outsourcing Has Accounted for near 30% of Global Market Share

Reporter achieved information from Global Service Outsourcing Industrial Forum hosted in Hangzhou in September 27th, 2015 that the implementation amount of offshore service outsourcing undertaken by China’s service outsourcing enterprises has accounted for near 30% of global service outsourcing market share. International competitiveness has obviously improved.

Liu Haiquan, the minister assistant of Ministry of Commerce introduced in the forum that the implementation amount of offshore service outsourcing undertaken by China’s service outsourcing enterprises has increased from 4.7 billion USD to 55.9 billion USD during the period from 2008 to 2014, and the proportion accounting for global service outsourcing market share increased from 7.7% to near 30%. In the first eight months of 2015, the implementation amount of offshore service outsourcing undertaken by China’s service outsourcing enterprises has reached 35.7 billion USD, which increasing 10.3%.

According to the data published by the forum, the export of global service trade increased from 3.98 trillion USD to 4.94 trillion USD during the period from 2008-2014; the annual growth was 3.7% and obviously higher 2.7% of growth than goods trade at the same time. Multinational investment amount in field of service was near 2/3 of ratio of global multinational investment; therefore, multinational enterprises rapidly transferred modern service industries such as R & D, consultant, information service and etc. to developing countries.
