Huawei has been awarded a five-year agreement by Vodafone to expand the Single Radio Access Network (SingleRAN) for its "Project Spring" Phase 1 programme across the world. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Specifically, Huawei said it will supply products and services for Vodafone radio access networks in 15 countries including the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, Romania, Czech Republic, Hungary, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, South Africa, Mozambique, Lesotho, DRC and Ghana. The deployments will use Huawei’s SingleRAN solutions and beam-forming Active Antenna System.
