“Report on Investment Attractiveness Assessment of China Service Outsourcing Cities 2011” Officially Published

On 25th September 26, 2011, the first and only Chinese research project on service outsourcing city jointly raised by Devott Service Outsourcing Research Center (DSORC) and China sourcing portal (www.chnsourcing.com) has been successfully accomplished. The research center officially published the “Report on Investment Attractiveness Assessment of China Service Outsourcing Cities 2011” and released the TOP 10 cities list and assessment index. The report also specifically analyzes the development situation, characteristics and trend of service outsourcing city as well as selection system and TOP 50 cities.

This research project is the only professional evaluation activity aiming at all Chinese service outsourcing cities of this industry. It fills the blank of the industry and makes up the relationship and interaction between cities and outsourcing industry. The research includes 21 service outsourcing model cities certified by Chinese Ministry of Commerce (respectively are Beijing, Shanghai, Dalian, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Tianjin, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Wuxi, Nanjing, Jinan, Daqing, Harbin, Wuhan, Chongqing, Chengdu, Xian, Hefei, Nanchang, Changsha and Xiamen) and 35 non-model cities (respectively are Qingdao, Shenyang, Yantai, Ningbo, Changzhou, Wuhu, Changshu, Yangzhou, Suqian, Jiaxing, Shi Jiazhuang, Changchun, Luoyang, Yixing, Langfang, Ma Anshan, Ruao, Shaoxing, Taizhou, Taizhou, Fuzhou, Kunming, Lian Yungang, Nantong, Huaian, Wenzhou, Yancheng, Zhang Jiajie, Dongying, Urumqi, Qin Huangdao, Benxi, Zhengzhou, Zhuhai and Anshan). It firstly presents the development situation of Chinese service outsourcing cities comprehensively to the whole world, especially the status quo of the industrial carrier and environment in China.

The selection activity, launched since May 2011, is widely focused by the industry and actively responded by participated cities governments, industrial organizations and institutions. Aiming at homogenized competition and the industrial practice, the research raised its unique assessment model on the investment attractiveness of Chinese service outsourcing cities. Furthermore, it offers important reference and data support for outsourcing city development, industrial development researches, selecting investment location and outsourcing destination, etc.
