We are a USA based company looking for qualified service providers for our MATLAB USGS Utility software requirement. We need a simple utility created that accesses the USGS geographic topology database and downloads data to a subdirectory. Specifically we need a Matlab function that accepts two corner points (lat1, long1, lat2, long2) from a function, and then automatically downloads a GeoTIFF zip file from the USGS seamless server, unzips it, and deposits it in a local subdirectory, ready to be used by another function.
